The 2012 Workforce Mobility Survey

How often do you work outside of your office (e.g., in a café, at home, or at other off-site locations)? Chances are you are not tied to your desk 100% of the time even if you go to a corporate office every day. We all know that the nature of work, including where and when it gets done, is changing dramatically.

We delighted to announce that we are launching a new Mobile Workforce Survey to explore in depth how and where people are getting their work done in 2012. This survey is a collaborative effort between The Future of Work…unlimited and Novacrea, a talent management consulting firm based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The survey takes just 10 minutes to complete. Click on the link and do it right now:

We’d love your participation. And we’ll be happy to send a free Executive Summary of the survey results to everyone who completes the survey.

The survey will help us all better understand:

  • the changing nature of work;
  • how technology is reshaping how we do work;
  • what kind of support and resources mobile workers need to be productive; and
  • what organizations can do to support their mobile workers.

Please pass this note and the survey link along to your friends and colleagues too.

Complete it right now at this link:

And if you would like to launch this survey for your employees and get results specific to your organization, please contact Jim Ware directly to discuss your interest and needs.

Again, just click here to complete the survey and help promote the cause of mobility in the workplace. You’ll be glad you did.

    Interesting that you chose to use a few of the Gallup 12 as part of the survey.

    Good luck with it.

    Would love to receive the executive summary of this survey as this topic aligns closely with some training and webinars I run for my organization, and I’d like to see how the findings compare and contrast with our current workforce’s perception.

    Hi there – sorry I missed the survey window, would love to see the Exec Summary and see how the key messages from the survey align or depart from our anecdotal experience in the Australian labour market.

    Admiring the time and effort you put into your site and detailed information
    you present. It’s awesome to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same out of date rehashed information.
    Excellent read! I’ve saved your site and I’m adding your RSS feeds to my Google account.
